Usually jokes are made when BYE teams leave saying "the place will never be the same again ..." but we hope that is a positive thing as during the week the Church saw a substantial number of kids that had never walked through the doors of the Church before thus making new contacts for them come the new term in September. On Sunday we took part in both services and had a lovely fellowship meal with the Church who were more than welcoming. The Lord really assisted those who took part in testimoney, interviewing and preaching so it was an encouraging start to the week. Monday to Friday consisted of a Holiday Bible Club in the morning where we had on average 35 kids come in every day. Our theme was 'streetwise' and we looked at the various houses Jesus visited in the book of Luke - the kids paid attention and seemed to take in the truth, especially the memory verses. Monday and Wednesday night saw the older youth come in and it had the set up of a youth club with an epilogue at the end. The Friday night saw both young kids, older teenagers and some parents return for the BBQ which was only disrupted briefly by a heavy shower. All in all it was a great week and we praise God for good numbers, continual answered prayer and the great bond every member of the team had. Please continue to pray for the surrounding community around Lanntara Baptist Church.
